When a house becomes a home

I am not sure when this happened but I finally feel like I have a home. Our house, though a work in progress, is so cozy and comfy that I just wanted to post some pictures for those who have never been there. Basically it is just the downstairs that I am showing cause we are still in the process of organizing upstairs but here are a few pictures to tide you over. It is tiny but I love it.

Merry-your home is so beautiful! I especially love the star hanging in the first picture, the green walls against the bright white moulding, and the tiling in the kitchen.

I am so happy for you! Can't wait to see it at some point;-)

Thanks guys! Also, I have Laura to thank for the awesome red hanging star. It is my favorite piece and everyone that comes over admires it.

Oooo! Soooo pretty! I love the twinkle lights on the stairs, and I really like the wreath on the door and that super-fun white credenza-table thingy by the mirror. I still want to come for a visit some time. :-)

Your house is so cozy. I love it! And I love that red star too. In fact, if you wake up some morning and it's no longer there...well, don't look for it at my house...Probably the figs did something with it!
